As we celebrate the remarkable milestone of our 100th anniversary, it's hard not to reflect on the incredible journey United Country Real Estate has taken over the last century. From our humble beginnings in 1925, when Roscoe L. Chamberlain founded United Farm Agency, we have grown into one of the most recognized names in rural real estate.

It was a time when the automobile was still a newfangled idea, and sending a man into space was a concept that lived only in the pages of science fiction novels. The world was changing rapidly, and so was the way people lived and worked. Roscoe saw an opportunity to revolutionize the real estate market for those in small towns and rural areas. He understood that sellers were struggling to reach buyers outside their local communities, and for buyers looking for homes, vacation properties, or investment land, accessing real estate in remote areas was no easy task.

With his vision, Roscoe founded United Farm Agency in 1925, and the first United Country (UC) office opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas. By the end of 1926, UC had already expanded to 42 agencies, with 245 sales under its belt. The original office in Fayetteville has continued to operate for the past 100 years, a testament to the enduring legacy of the United Country brand.

From those early days, our mission has remained the same: to make rural real estate accessible to all, whether they are seeking a country home, a vacation getaway, or land for investment. Through the decades, United Country Real Estate has expanded its reach, offering cutting-edge marketing tools to help property owners connect with buyers from across the country and even the world.
